Toiletries for the Poor

Do you have a drawer full of tiny toiletries? Those baby bottles of shampoo, tiny tubes of toothpaste, small soaps and so forth you get at hotels, in gift bags, as free samples or as leftovers from trips? Don’t let them go to waste, share them with the poor!

We now have bins located at the doors of the church building where you can deposit extra toiletries at any time. Any size is welcome. Shampoo, shaving cream, razors, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes — anything used for cleaning or grooming are welcome and will be distributed to those in need by our Martha’s Kitchen ministry every Friday.

So go ahead and pack those leftover hotel toiletries, or bring along the travel-size bottles from your last trip, or pick up something extra at your tip to the drug store. The bins will be there whenever you are ready.
