Mission Circle
Mission Circles are organized of Catholic men and women who, as missionaries in our parishes, band together and follow a program of spiritual and material assistance.
The Good Shepherd's Circle No. 265 adopted our own Father Tom Cahill, Order of Miles Jesu, as the missionary who is not working with the poorest of the poor in the suburbs of Bombay, (now know as Mumbai) Sirsi, Karnataka, India. Many of the unfortunate children appeared in the film Slumdog Millionaire.
The Mission Circle group plans an event twice a year to financially assist this work: 1. Thanksgiving Pumpkin Bread Sale in the Fall and 2. The English High Tea in the Spring.
