On New Year’s Day, Friday, January 1, 2016 there will be only ONE Mass at 10 a.m.

“Christmas To Candlemas” Readings & Carols by Candlelight
Sunday, January 10, 2016
7:30 p.m.

A service alternating readings and choral/congregational music of the Christmas season, including the Presentation of the Christ Child at the Temple. The service will be held in dim lighting with candles. Come and conclude the Christmas season in a wonderfully special way. Welcome! The doors are open.

The church is open to the public Monday – Friday until 9 p.m.

Wednesday Evening Mass at 6:30 p.m.

We are having Mass every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. followed by Eucharistic Adoration and Confession

First Friday Devotion

Because January 1, 2016 falls on a Friday, there will be NO First Friday Devotion of the Sacred Heart in January.
Please join us on Friday, February 5, 2016
8 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Cantribution Weekend is next Sunday!

The bags of food are given to St. Joseph Center Food Pantry in Venice where people with insufficient income can receive supplemental groceries.
Pantry donation guide:
Canned meats and fish, beans, cereal, canned Sauces, canned vegetables and fruits, rice, crackers, vegetable oil, toiletries, peanut butter, pasta, soup and broth, plastic bags, empty egg cartons. No expired items please!

The 9th Annual Celebration Mass in Honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe which took place on Saturday, December 12, here at Good Shepherd, was very well attended and a grand success.

Young at Heart

Young at Heart welcomes you to our gathering on Saturday, January 16, 2016 to start off the new year. Meet new friends and enjoy the friendship of others. Lunch will be served for a donation of $12. We will be meeting in the Parish Center at 11:30 a.m.
