Holy Triduum and Easter Sunday 2011

“What good would life have been for us, had Christ not come as our Redeemer?” The Holy Triduum is the three-day liturgical celebration that extends from Holy Thursday through the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday. This single liturgy brings God’s people together to celebrate and relive the saving betrayal, torture, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Holy Thursday, April 21

No morning or daytime services.
7:30 p.m.: Mass of the Lord’s Supper. Choir is present.
8:30-10 p.m.: Procession followed by adoration in the place of repose.

Good Friday, April 22

No morning Services.
12 Noon and 7:30 p.m.: Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion (Choir at Noon)

Holy Saturday, April 23

8 p.m.: Easter Vigil
The greatest night of the entire Christian year. There will be a reception in the Parish Hall after the Mass to honor our newest members who will be initiated during the Vigil. Everyone is invited.

Easter Sunday, April 24

Masses in the Church: 7 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Masses in the Parish Hall: 10:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.

(The Choir is in the church for the 10:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. Masses.)

There will be NO evening Mass

Our Parking Challenge!

Come earlier than early! This way you have plenty of time to find a parking space and get to church on time. Let us each and all practice the greatest patience, courtesy, and thoughtfulness as we try to find a parking space during these Holy Days.
